HOW WE HELP

Life experiences can stay with us in ways we don't always expect.

A distressing memory, difficult relationship, workplace experience, loss, or significant life event can continue to have an impact long after it has passed.

We support teenagers and adults navigating distressing memories, difficult experiences and life challenges that continue to have an impact. You don't need a diagnosis, and you don't need to describe what you've been through as trauma to seek support. Whatever has brought you here, you're welcome.

HOW WE WORK

Our care is trauma-informed, evidence-based and shaped around your needs, circumstances and preferences.

We work in a way that is collaborative, respectful and non-pathologising, recognising that people make sense in the context of what they have lived through.

Depending on your needs, therapy may draw on EMDR, parts-informed approaches and other evidence-based psychological strategies. We focus on building understanding, strengthening internal resources, and supporting meaningful change in ways that are shaped around your needs, circumstances and preferences.

OUR SIGNATURE SERVICE

EMDR Intensive Blocks

EMDR Intensive Blocks are a signature service of Inner Good Psychology, offering adults dedicated time and space to work through one or two distressing memories, experiences or events.

Rather than spreading the work across weekly sessions over many months, an intensive brings longer sessions together in a structured, supportive and carefully paced program. Each intensive is tailored to your needs, circumstances and areas of focus, with the process beginning with an Assessment & Planning Session.

An intensive isn’t about rushing therapy. It’s about creating the time and conditions to work on a specific area of focus with continuity, care and support.
